The Emotional Resilience Roadmap offers a gentle, body-based approach to emotional regulation.
Rather than focusing on reprocessing the past, the work centers on what is happening in the present moment. Through simple, accessible practices, you’ll learn how your nervous system responds to stress and emotion, how to recognize early signals of overwhelm, and how to offer your body the conditions it needs to move through the stress or emotion and then settle.
Choice, pacing, and safety are central throughout.
You’re encouraged to move slowly, stay curious, and engage in ways that feel supportive rather than effortful.
The intention is to build capacity over time, not to push through discomfort.

It includes 12 recorded video modules and a comprehensive guided workbook, with built-in checkpoints to assess your understanding and implementation.
You’re invited to move through the material in a way that honors your current capacity and life circumstances. There is no expectation to complete the course in a specific timeframe.
Many people return to the practices over time, allowing the work to deepen gradually.
Live office hours are available to ask questions and clarify understanding, without any requirement to share personal experiences.

Hi there! I'm Allie Whitney.
I am the founder of Studio A Body Therapy, a local studio in the Indianapolis area, and have spent years supporting adults seeking to heal from trauma, chronic stress, body tension, and emotional dysregulation through somatic and body-based approaches.
I am a manual (hands-on) therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, coach and educator.
And I have experienced first-hand the power of somatic work for getting off the emotional roller coaster, after a lifetime of living in fight-or-flight and overwhelm.Â
My work integrates trauma-informed bodywork, nervous system education, and practical tools that help people reconnect with their bodies safely and sustainably.
The Emotional Resilience Roadmap grew out of this work, created to offer the same care and depth beyond the studio in a format that allows people to engage in their own time, in their own way.
